It all began with potatoes. At the end of 19th century, our grandparents, Katharina and Johann Haag, managed a farm and traded in potatoes. Daily, they delivered peeled potatoes to fifteen-thousand imperial guards, and it was this entrepreneurial idea that brought them here, to the entrance to the town of Euren to build a country inn.

In 1906, on the occasion of the Euren town fair, the inn was ready to open its doors. To the delight of the Euren residents, they found was a quaintly furnished "guesthouse" with a restaurant, pub and adjoining rooms, a terrace café on the ground floor and a banquet hall for 300 people.

A sophisticated design even back then: the decorative stonework around the windows and doors cost more than 35,000 German Goldmarks.

Things have to change to stay as they are

Over the years, much has happened and a lot has changed at the Eurener Hof. The transformation from a country inn to a first class hotel has been the accomplishment of four generations. Back then, as today, we have preserved the best traditions of the Eurener Hof, providing a second home to our international guests, in which a friendly atmosphere and personal service go hand in hand.

To experience the joie de vivre our hotel offers, we warmly welcome you to Eurener Hof.
